Rigid Retaining Walls
Description
Retaining structures are often used to stabilize any unstable slopes by providing lateral resistance support. This course provides practical information on analysis of gravity, cantilever, and reinforced walls. The stability checks for the design of these supporting walls including sliding and overturning stability will be discussed. The course will benefit those who would like to understand performance of these support system in practice and their basic analysis and design procedures.
